The goal of this illustration is to create an eductional piece that
educates the viewers on the location of the arteries that innervate the brain both in
perspective to the brain and the skull.

After researching the anatomy of the arteries in relations to the brain and skull, and references such as 3D maquette, plastic models, and real skulls were used, did pencil finally hit paper and sketches were created. The illustration was rendered via digital painting.
